Ibiza is not all clubbing: the west of the island is a brilliant family destination, with shallow bays, flat seafront promenades and sunsets the little ones love just as much. Here are our recommendations for a few easy days together.

Beaches with shallow water
Port des Torrent is the number one for families: an enclosed bay, fine sand and dozens of metres you can walk out with the water still at waist height. Cala Bassa and Cala Gració work just as well, with full facilities close by.
A first go at snorkelling
Cala Gració and the sides of Port des Torrent are perfect for kids to try a mask for the first time: calm water, shallow depths and fish from the very first metre. We have masks, fins and rock shoes in children's sizes.
Things to do away from the sand
For the hottest hours of the day, or for a day off from the beach:
- Cap Blanc aquarium (Sa Cova de ses Llagostes), right next to Cala Gració
- The Paseo de ses Fonts and the harbour in the early evening
- The boat taxi to Cala Bassa: the crossing is an outing in itself
- The evening street markets around the bay
Logistics: less to carry, more time to play
Travelling with kids already means plenty of luggage. The parasol, cool box, inflatables, beach bats and water gear we deliver to your hotel: you arrive, it is waiting for you, and we collect it when you leave.
